PROS-APAC Orthodontal Corporation began business in 1996 by engaging in the marketing and distributing of orthodontic materials. Starting 2004, the company expanded its product line to include dental implantology, tooth whitening, cements and composites, medicaments for accelerated healing and repair of oral tissues, and dental burs. PROS-APAC caters to clients all around the Philippines.
Challenge
As the head of the corporation, Rene Angeles, President of PROS-APAC, needed a more efficient way to simplify their business processes for easier management. He was struggling with manual bookkeeping which really took him a lot of time entering data. Also, due to lack of real-time visibility, tracking the status of operations especially of the Field Sales Department was a big stumbling block to make accurate and timely decisions.
Solution
PASI introduced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central on-premise to PROS-APAC. After much consideration, Rene decided to switch to this system. With Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, no time and resources are wasted in manually entering data. Rene can get an end-to-end view of real-time data across accounting, sales, purchasing, inventory, and customer service. He also has the convenience of accessing and reviewing the productivity of each department. Field Sales Representatives can sell assertively by having visibility of all customer interactions to gain opportunities in up-selling and cross-selling their ever-growing range of product line. “It allows us to track our operations in the most efficient manner. We can slice and dice all the information coming from our Field Sales Representatives and be able to find out which of them are performing and not performing. And, which brands are selling and not selling well. This allows us to finetune our operations to achieve the utmost efficiency,” he said. Additionally, Rene and his team from all around the Philippines can have the flexibility to run Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central either in the cloud, on-premises, or a combination of both.
Results
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central indeed optimizes PROS-APAC’s overall business operations. “It has been very helpful to us because it allows us not only to track our day-to-day operations but also to forecast our performance in the coming months and years.
